Offerup then also sends notifications about what they think I want to buy that has nothing to do with someone wanting to buy my item. Take the app for Offerup for example(everyone does it) you must allow notifications to be alerted when someone wants to buy your posted item. The problem with allowing notifications is that leaves it open for the app to send notifications about anything they please, including what you stated.
